Learn how to create a marine logo by following this step-by-step guide. In
this tutorial we will use Pen, Brush, Marquee tools and other effects. Logo
is the combination of characters and/or graphics to create a single design that
is used to identify a company or organization.
1. Create a new document in Photoshop of any size (I have used 300
/ 200 px) with white background contents.
2. Now create a shape as shown below using Pen tool and Right-click >
Make selection, select the default options. Fill the selection with #2859c9
on a different layer.

3. Repeat the above step to create new shapes and arrange them as shown
below. You can use different colors to fill the selection (here I have used ##2859c9,
#17367d for bottom and top respectively) and each shape on a different layer.
4. Create a circle just below the top layer using Elliptical Marquee tool
and fill the selection with gradient color tool (#fa3a07 foreground and #eeb037
background color).

5. Now press Ctrl + D to deselect and then double-click
the circle layer and apply the blending options as shown below:

6. Repeat the above step to create another circle and fill with #fdef07
color. Now Ctrl + Click the yellow circle layer to select the entire circle,
press the Top and Right Arrow 6 times. Then press Ctrl + Alt + Click the yellow
circle layer and fill the selection with white color.

7. Press Ctrl + D to deselect, decrease the size by pressing
Ctrl + T and place that as shown below:
8. Now select the Brush tool with Size = 3 and apply around
the yellow circle as shown below:

9. Create a boat shape using Pen tool and fill the selection
with #1c5298. Press Ctrl + D to deselect.
10. Now select the Polygonal Lasso tool and create a shape as
shown below. Fill the selection with white color.

11. Add lines as shown using Pen tool and repeat the steps to
create another boat with different color (Here I use #ffd800).

12. Now its time to create the ship, paste a nice image of a
ship. Go to Filter > Artistic > Cutouts and apply the options as shown
below:

13. Now we’re very close to the finish line - add text
using Text tool and apply the Wrap Text options as shown below:

14. Place the text around the circle. Your finished image should
look something like this
